Bouncing for Health!

Did you know that your lymphatic system cannot move itself?

Your circulatory system has a "pump" to keep your blood moving, but your lymphatic system does not have a mechanism such as this to move the lymph through your body.

This is why exercise and movement are so important!

One simple way that we can keep our lymphatic system moving is through bouncing on a mini-trampoline.

This is a gentle movement.  Keep your feet in contact with the trampoline (you are not jumping up and bouncing off of the trampoline) and do a simple bouncing movement for 5-10 minutes a day.

This is a great exercise to do while watching TV or winding down at the end of the day.

Another variation of this exercise is to sit on a yoga ball with your feet planted firmly on the floor and bounce in this seated position (not losing contact with the ball) for 5-10 minutes as well.
