Lymphatic Exercise

The Lymphatic System is part of our Immune System and must be kept moving in order to stay healthy.

The main issue with Lymphatic movement is that the system does not have a pump to move the lymph fluid for itself (as the heart does for the Circulatory System).

How can we keep our lymph fluid moving then? Through movement and manual drainage exercises.

Here is one simple exercise to do to help move the lymph nodes in your head and neck area:

(You can perform this exercise seated or standing)

  1. As you inhale, slowly turn your head to the right to a count of five.
  2. Pause for one second and then exhale, bringing your head back to center for a count of five.
  3. Repeat on the left side.
  4. Do five repetitions on each side.
Nice and easy!
