Gout - Natural Remedies for Relief

Gout is a type of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints.

This buildup can cause redness, swelling, tenderness, and extreme pain in the affected area.  The most common area for uric acid buildup is the big toe, but gout can also occur in other parts of your foot, ankles, knees, or other joints.

Your body produces uric acid when it breaks down purines (a substance naturally found in your body, and also found in certain foods such as steak, organ meats, and seafood), and normally this uric acid dissolves in your blood and then passes through your kidneys, into your urine, and is then eliminated.

So the question becomes, "what can we do to help the body dissolve the uric acid, filter through the kidneys properly, and be eliminated?"  This would solve the issue of uric acid buildup (or too much uric acid in the bloodstream).
