The Benefits of Lavender Essential Oil

Yesterday's post discussed the unwanted side effects associated with medications and pharmaceuticals. Today we will begin looking at some specific side benefits we receive from natural remedies.

First, let's look at some healthy benefits of Lavender Essential Oil:

  • Eliminate nervous tension
  • Relieve pain
  • Disinfect the scalp and skin
  • Enhance blood circulation
  • Treat respiratory issues
  • Repel bugs
  • Induce sleep
  • Relieve stress and anxiety
  • Treats acne
  • Stimulate urine flow
  • Effective on lice
  • Increased hair growth (with alopecia)
  • Decreases carcinogens
  • Aids in digestion
  • Boosts immunity
  • Treats eczema
  • It is an anti-inflammatory
  • (and many more)
So the message here is:  If you are using Lavender Essential Oil to help you sleep, you are also boosting your immunity, reducing inflammation, enhancing your blood circulation, relieving pain, decreasing carcinogens, aiding your digestion, and promoting a healthier respiratory system (among other things, i.e., if you are using topically, you could be treating eczema or helping with hair growth).

This is the exact opposite of using a pharmaceutical (such as Ambien as discussed in yesterday's blog: http://millshealthyenergy.blogspot.com/2017/10/side-benefits-instead-of-side-effects.html) which typically produces unwanted side effects.

We have options, we have choices, and I think most of us would agree that wonderful side benefits are much more desirable than unwanted side effects.
