Homemade Laundry Detergent - Powder Recipe

Finding a non-toxic Laundry Detergent is especially crucial as we continue our quest to get rid of as many toxins as possible in our daily lives.

We are (basically) wearing clothes 24/7 and whatever is on our clothes (toxic laundry detergent) is being absorbed into our skin (the largest organ our body has) constantly.

It is VERY important to use non-toxic Laundry Products!!  I can't express this point enough.

So here is a great homemade recipe for Powder Laundry Detergent that you can make in about 10 minutes:

Homemade Laundry Detergent - Powder

2 Bars Castile Soap (grated) (can get scented if desired)
1 Box Super Washing Soda
1 Large Box Baking Soda
1 Container Oxi Clean Baby (for stains)
2.5 Cups Pure Epsom Salts (for softening) (can get scented if desired)

Mix all ingredients together in a large container
(I use a 5 gallon bucket with a lid)

Use approx 1/4 cup for each laundry load
