Lactose Intolerant? Try This Simple Natural Remedy!
Our bodies naturally produce all of the enzymes we need for digestion, metabolism, and cellular chemical reactions.
However, as we age, we tend to lose the ability to produce these enzymes. Some experts estimate that this begins to happen as early as 20 years old. Yikes!
So let's focus in on one specific enzyme: Lactase.
This enzyme is what we need to help us digest dairy products. If our bodies do not produce enough Lactase, then our ability to digest lactose (a sugar found in milk) decreases.
If lactose is not digested properly, we may experience stomach pain, cramps, bloating, gas, nausea and/or diarrhea (diagnosed as "Lactose Intolerance").
So how can we bring this issue back into balance?
By putting lactase back into our bodies.
Lactase supplements are easily available at most health food stores, vitamin shops, etc. and are not costly.
For even more benefits, I recommend taking not only the lactase enzyme, but a combination of digestive and systemic enzymes which will help in many areas (more will be discussed in future blogs).
My favorite product is Veganzyme made by Global Healing Center:

A second way to get more lactase into our bodies is to take a probiotic. Some of the bacteria found in probiotics actually produce lactase. We'll talk more about probiotics in a future blog as well.
So there you have it!

If you suffer from lactose intolerance, taking a Lactase Supplement can bring your body back into balance and eliminate all of the symptoms associated with lactose intolerance.
